Matcha Powder Tea & Grape Smoothie
Makes 1 Serving
1 cup (250 ml) green California grapes, rinsed
1/2 cup (125 ml) cold water
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1/2 cup (125 ml) ice cubes
1 teaspoon (5 ml) of Blair Elements Green tea Matcha powder
Directions
Puree all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into glass and serve immediately.
This is a quick and easy smoothie with the combination of flavourful pineapple and the Green Matcha powder.
Green & White Tea Mango Smoothie
Makes 4 servings
1 cup of boiling water
4 teaspoons of Blair Elements Mango flavoured Green & White tea
2 cups of (500 ml) cubed mango
3/4 cup (180 ml) low fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup (250 ml) ice cubes ( 6 to 8 )
Directions
Pour steaming water (185F) over the tea leaves and brew for 3 – 5 minutes. Remove the leaves and allow the tea to chill.
In a blender, process brewed tea, mango and yogurt. Sweeten, if desired with sugar. Add ice cubes and process until smooth. Serve immediately.
The combination of the natural rich antioxidants in the green and white tea, infused with the yogurt and rich mango makes this a refreshing treat anytime of the day.
